#1 Davidoff Chateau Latour: surprisingly creamy and never harsh - tough draw at first, but patience and a bit of work really paid off...

Took it along for some errands... What a wonderful start!

#2 Noella reserva 06': I didn't know what to expect, but I was blown away by how different this was - stronger, richer, more cocoa & cream (yes I salivated heavily, lol) - never got harsh, even while I burnt my fingers sipping every last puff.

Hung around with my boy at the playground...

#3 Opus Forbidden X 2004: After eating out with a group of friends I lit this with high expectations - it delivered. Wonderfull aged opus taste, yet light on the palate - never overwhelming, but complex & lots of tasty nuances with every puff... Mmm Mmm good...

#4 Quai d'Orsay Imperiales 06': Smoked with a group of friends in the backyard, enjoying the cool evening and great conversation.. Firm draw, opened up to reveal some very refined subtle flavors - Very enjoyable, creamy texture and a nice way to cap the day!

It was a busy day, but a great day - one to remember.

All of these sticks were made possible by brothers, whom I consider friends, comrades & co-conspirators... I am truly greatfull and I appreciate the many blessings. Thank you.

:peace:

You did it backwards....should have built up to the strength by starting with the Imperiales, followed by the Latour, then the Noella and finally the Opus X. Migh not have mattered much since these were spaced apart. Nonetheless, great smoking indeed.

The Noella reserva was the strongest of the bunch IMO: the Forbidden X, though complex was very light on the tongue. I usually like to alternate between strong & medium, but in this case - things were spaced pretty well & I enjoyed each stick.
