OK, the package finally made it through the mail backlog from the Iceland volcano and has landed in the US. I'll be packing everything up this weekend and sending off to everyone on Monday.

If I don't have your address, I'll be in touch.

Also, please send me a PM if you have any questions.

Hi from Bali,
Happy to hear all made it to Ted's able hands. Took a bit longer than normal due to European flight delay I think, but now all is with Ted and that is great news! Ted is doing a great job in getting all this organized and I am sure he will get all out to you as soon as he can. Be a little patient as the ems delay added about a week onto the process but we can't control those dang volcanoes. We know that well here in Indonesia.

I hope all enjoy their smokes. Smoke on, Balibob

I can't wait to try this stick.

Hey Tambo, how long should we lay 'em down for before sparking one up?
Hi from Bali,
Our cigars are aged for one year after production so normally I tell my clients they are ready to smoke; but these guys have had a longer than normal trip under circumstances that we cannot know about for sure. We believe they were delayed by the european flight delay due to the volcanoe. Thus I would suggest that they be left in the old humidor for a couple of weeks anyway to settle down. In most group reviews guys start lighting em off anywhere from a few days to a week after they get their hands on them so two weeks should be quite acceptable.

Remember the filler tobacco has already waited 5years to get to you and the whole cigar has slumbered another year so we are not talking about immature sticks here. They are ripe and ready to be smoked, so enjoy at will...Smoke on, Balibob

My cigars are in! They look and smell great. I put them in the vinotemp and will wait for them to settle down. I bet they had quite a trip.

On the other hand I was really disappointed in the two packs of pipe tobacco. Both of them had mold! Even with the mold, it smelled good. Maybe tomorrow, I'll see if I can salvage enough to have a few bowls. Maybe the volcano put the tobacco over the edge or something.

Can't wait to smoke the cigars though!

Mine had a small patch of mold but nothing serious. I smoked a bowl tonight and was very impressed with the tobacco. Its a tat bit wet for what I normally smoke but I will dry some out and give a serious review on it.

Hi Ron (and anyone else who has a molding issue with the precut pipe tobacco).
First my apologies for the problem. It could be due to several things including that it might have been too humid when cut here in Bali or it ended up stored in a bad environment during the long flight delay, but more important is that we stand behind all of our products and thus want to get you a replacement shipment asap. My wife is flying to New York on the 15May (arriving on 16May as it is a 26 hours flight) I will be happy to send replacement packages to you and anyone else with the same problem. I would like you to private message me here with you name, address and tel. and how many bags you had ordered so I can have her send the bags on to you once she reaches the USA. I want you and anyone else who ordered the pipe tobacco to get the full impact of flavor and want to be sure all know we value everyone of our customers. Let me know in the next couple days please as not much time and I need to sneak the bags into the wife's luggage..LOL..that can be a tight squeeze. Again sorry for the problem and will wait for your pm. Smoke on, Balibob
