Espinosa y Ortega 929 Pepin Blend event Cigar?

Hey Yall!

Quick question...I have run across a stick called "Espinosa y Ortega 929 Reserva Especial which I have never heard of before, but is supposed to be a Pepin Blend Cigar that is only handed out at events...

It has a red label with "929" in the middle and is roughly 5x48ish...

Any info would be great!

It is a Pepin blend. From what I remember being told it was a European cigar and only given out at events but Eddie can clarify that I am sure. While the cigar smoked fine it wasn't really my cup of tea as the flavors were a bit too mild for my tastes.

I remember it being VERY mild as well Tim. Smooth for sure but just to mild for my taste.

We no longer make the 929. For a time, these cigars were handed out at events to customers who wanted to smoke milder smokes.

We've always had a problem while doing events with customers who prefer milder smokes. All the brands we currently manufacture are pretty full bodied, the 601 Black was probably the mildest of all, but not really mild - medium to full is more accurate.

929 just didn't work good for us. We are currently tasting blends for a milder smoke, we're just too picky...)

yea, the 601 Black may be a Conny, but mild it is NOT! Great smoke.

Made just about 3,000 sticks. Pepin made them for us,,,but we need something even a little bit milder.
