Sweet job Brent!

That's a sharp looking office you got there my friend, double monitor setup is very nice!

I have one of those LFD Salomon boxes too, I want to find someone to turn it into a "cigar box guitar" for me.

Larry, I know just the man to do that for you. I will ask him the next time he comes in to the shop.

Sweet job on the office also.

actually yeah, i'm pretty nitty about keeping my office clean at the very least. Notice however that I'm not posting pics of the rest of my house (where the kids tend to destroy the place for the most part)...

how I replaced the ugly blue garbage can? Sure. Sent one of my kids in, said hey, take that back to your room. Score!

but really, for the boxes - first I got some 1" x 2" x 8' boards, and spray painted them black. Mounted those to the wall, top board right against the ceiling, bottom board about 2.5" below that (used a deck of playing cards as a spacer). Screwed them in to the studs. Screwed right through the boxes in to my strapping...that was about it.

Sucked because I had some very nice boxes that I just couldn't use due to the design, but whatever. Took me probably ~6 hours work total(painted the boards yesterday and let them dry overnight). It was actually pretty easy, I'm NOT at all a "handy" guy but it wasn't a big deal in the least.
