I am fairly new on the cigar scene and am currently in Spain for work.

Well I have an "issue" of not buying just one cigar at a time and need to hold a couple, since I do not have a humidor I have begun to read about tupperdores.

Are the Boveda packs sold at most stores that sell cigars or would I need to order online?

I will be purchasing a tupperware like container soon and take them out of the cedar/cardboard boxes that I was given for free.

Any tips for these DIY's would be sweet as well.

you can put beads in a tupperware as well? I thought you need a large amount for them to work...or could i put a handful in a tube or sticking and just toss it into a tupperware container. (I'm planning on keeping a max of 10 sticks at a time)

beads work fine, get a small bead tube from heartfelt and it'll work, or you can go with the boveda packs.

ya i was thinking the boveda pack since it is cheaper and smaller...i found a tube here for 10euro, but I will be checking out some better shops that are on the other side of town today, and see if they have Boveda or cheaper tubes.

Boveda is good, and will keep to about 1% of the actual # listed on it... and usually spot on! The thing with beads is that as long as you have distilled water, they will last for ever!! Boveda will eventually dry out and need to be replaced. In a tightly sealed container they can possibly last 6 months if not more...
You'd end up spending about 8-20 bux on Boveda a year for those few cigars, which over the months is not bad at all!!!

what do you use for humidification?
well i tried to install the rectangle black humidifier but didn't work because it needed something bigger so i made my own humidifier.

the process was very easy with a small tupper that i made few holes on the led and placed to peaces of sponge filled it with distilled water and worked perfectly
