Lately, my favorite cigar for the golf course is a La Gloria Cubana Series R No. 7 Maduro. It is a 7 x 58 and usually gets me through a little more than 9 holes. What do you smoke on the course and/or can you recommend another big tasty Maduro I might try?

So do you use it to hit your ball off the first tee before you light it? That's a big mofo. Two cigars that I love to smoke period let alone on the golf course are Tat Tainos and CoRos

Smoke whatever floats your boat!!!!

I smoke cigars. I don't hang out on the porch, brush my teeth 3 times, cleanse my palate with sorbet, drink water, and take notes. I have smoked $2 to $40 cigars on the course. I play golf to score, win, or make money. Why limit yourself. Don't lay up unless you can't carry the water!!

The DPG Blue Label A is a great cigar on the course. Scare the hell out of your partners. Fire up a 9.5 cigar on the first tee and rip it. I always try to tee up last. If my partners can't hit it farther than my 3 wood, I use the 3 wood and 9.5 inch cigar for intimidation. It enhances the overall experience.

My reason for this post is to try and find another affordable descent BIG smoke. I play two to three rounds of golf per week and usually smoke two per round. I buy the La Gloria Cubana Series R No. 7's on Monster when they go on sale for less than $6.00 per stick. I don't want to get burned out on them and I wanted a few more BIG smoke options.

I've always been partial to Onyx as a golfing smoke - however they don't have a stick that large.

Good Luck-

You could also try the Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Churchill or the Cusano 18 Paired Maduro Gordo.

I enjoy Cuesta Rey and Ashton Aged pyramid maduros while on the course. I know they're not BIG, but a decent size. Another I enjoy is the Onyx Reserve churchill. All go to smokes for my morning rounds with some coffee.

I usually smoke the la Flor Dominicana DL700 Maduro, Perdomo Habano Presidente Maduro or the El Baton 6x60 on the golf course
