Well I got the call back from the garage today. The cost to fix my car is way more than I'm willing to spend. I can't see putting an insane amount of money into a 2001 with 173,000 miles. Well at least I got my money outta this one. Kinda sucks that we will be going to a one car family for awhile. But right now my hands are tied. With the baby coming in a month I can't drop the coin on a new car. Oh well. Just thought I'd dump out my frustrations. Thanks for listening.

Sorry to hear that man, I can sympathize with the one car family. Though I only live about 4 blocks from work so it's an extremely easy commute. At least you're not in the position to have to run out right away and get something, you can take some time and find a good deal!

There's always a bright side to this... Your wife is doing fine! Screw the car right now. It sucks, I know (something happened to my ca too) but hey! You can't have everything, only the things that you really want.
