I got a letter a while back offering me $385 dollars in exchange for my Pager number. For those of you who know me, I am not a guy who keeps up with technology. This was my first pager and it was about 10 years after all my friend had pagers and were just getting into cell phones. I still do not own a cell phone. Anyway I bought lifetime pager service for $135 in like 1995, and lost the pager a few years later. I have never got another pager to replace that one because I got some cheapo cell phone. Anyway I guess they really meant it when they said I could get lifetime service, because they had to track me down and buy my phone number so they could use it for someones cell. Maybe I should have held out and tried for more, but I filled out their offer and just got the check. Dont tell Nicole I will be buying her something she has wanted for a while.
