Viaje Summerfest Robusto

Anyone have any info as to what shops might be getting these. I recall seeing that this was a "mistake" vitola, that was originally intended to be the 8.0 brush foot torpedo that will be released at the same time. I'm not particularly a fan of the 8 inch torpedo as its just too damn big....brushed foot or not. But the robusto would be sweet! I know it's more limited as a result (50 boxes I believe), and I'd love to know where I could pick up a 5'er, or 10'er, or even a box if possible.

If anyone has any info and is willing to share please hit me with a PM.

Well, make sure you burn one and let us know how they smoke Larry when you get em' in!! Hopefully they're on par with the other L.E.'s Viaje has put out recently....until they come out with a dud.....no reason to believe otherwise!

LOL probably a little of both. I just went for the robustos because i don't like the paint brush style or size.

50 boxes of the "Robusto size", I'm not sure of how many boxes there are of the Torpedo, that may also be 50 boxes....maybe someone else can clarify that.

I would consider them Ultra Rare LE's (for 2010) only because there was never suppose to be a robusto made and they also have bands that were printed with the wrong color.

The "Summerfest" is now part of Viaje's "Seasonal Series", which also includes the "Holiday Blend." It sounds like Andre intends to release these every year.

I understand people's "fed up" feelings with LE sticks, but after the Tat T110 (now in my Top 10) I have a tough time just ignoring them. I missed out on the Holiday Blend, which many/most consider stellar, but I've yet to get into Viaje in general (only had one stick).

I must admit that I am always intrigued by these LEs, and that it's excellent marketing strategy by the manufacturers.
