I was checking out the site sponsors and am curious about Bucanero Cigars. Looks like they have a great selection of different smokes and very nice prices. I would like to get some opinions from those that have tried their cigars. Thanks.

costa rican tobac is unique. some like- some hate. try the sampler, but keep note of the Treasures of Costa Rica line - is a costa rican puro. very unique. i recommend them as a change of pace/palate re-setter.

I agree with Jaime 100% on that recommendation. The Treasures of Costa Rica has always been my favorite Buccanero line. They are much cheaper directly than what they sold for in the B&M's.

I smoked several a few years ago and I liked them. The flavor was way different than anything I've had. It had the aroma and after taste of mesquite wood. Worth a shot is you are looking for something new to try, you may just like them.

Best advice you've been given so far - buy a sampler.

Samplers are your best friend in this hobby.

Smoke a hell of allot of them in Iraq. As did a number of my guys.

My wife sent me my first Bucanero's on my birthday last December since she said the company was 100% owned by veterans. I have been smoking fine stogies since for 20 years or so.

Jamie my wife knows what I like to smoke. But this time around she just plain took a shot hoping to make my birthday a surprise. I like my cigars full body, smooth with allot of flavor. Maduro's.

In this gift set I found one hell of a great cigar. The Full Sail Maduro. The other 8 were passed out. They were mild to medium body not my taste.

I want to tell the guy who called them crap...he must have never fired one up. My guys are known for smoking some serious cigars. Cubans you name it.

Everyone of them discovered a new go to cigar. Except my Capitan he's still stuck on Cubans.

Sorry about getting a little upset but I can see here that the truth is missing about Bucanero. I am home after three deployments and I still buy them and nothing has changed. Damn fine cigars.

I agree also, they are unique. I pulled one out the other day, it had about a year in the humidor and was quiite tasty.
