is this Edgestar a good one?

wondering if this is one with thermoelectric cooling. Can anyone tell from the photos? And if so, is 75 a good deal in your guys opinions?

18 is kinda small for that price IMO, people have found new edgestars and avanti 28 bottles for 125ish

I personally would not get dual zone wine coolers to act as a humidor. Usually the zone for the white wines do not get as warm as the other zone. I looked on Edgestar's website and the 18-bottle dual zone they list says the top portion temp ranges from 45-54. I would not want to store cigars in 54 degrees... and it's not even guaranteed to reach 54, it could be cooler depending on the unit.

I have the standard 28-bottle Edgestar unit and it doesn't get as warm as it states it can. So knowing that, I personally would stay away from that unit.

But if you want it for wine, go right ahead!

Another pro / con of the dual-zone coolers is that you lose more space than you would realize because of the divider. On the flip side, it acts as a built-in shelf which can also be handy. Something to think about depending on how you'd like yours configured.
