I'm sorry that I haven't been around in a while.

I know it's been a while since I've posted--that's what happens as we come closer and closer to the end of the school year--I get busier and busier. Now that the school year is over, I should be able to actually take part, once again! YAAY! I have missed being around the boards.

The reason for the title, though.

I found out this past week, after a stress test, first, my heart is pumping blood just fine. However, they did find a bit of damage that the doctors believe is a small blockage. I am being set up with a cardiologist starting at the end of July.

Now the good...

We also found out that my wife is expecting our first!!!!!!! We are EXTREMELY thrilled by this! We wish we were back in Maryland for all of this, but we're just as happy with the news where we are!

Anywho, just wanted you all to know.

I just went through this as i was recently diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy. I had a stress test that showed 2 areas they thought showed blockage. I had my cardiac cath on Monday. Good news, it was all clean. Stress tests have a high rate of false positives so I will pray that is the case with you as well.

I wish it were positive, too. Lately my pains have been worse and extending into my left arm. They must not be too concerned because my appointment with the cardiologist is in late July.

Mine happened two years ago, tingling all the way down the left arm. Wife was at work so I drove myself to the emergency care. Spent two days in the hospital and passed my stress test with flying colors.

Turned out to be a "pinched" nerve in my neck as a result of two disc's going bad.
