It seriously scares the crap out of me that we can get a strong ass earthquake here again... this one scared me a little.

Desk was moving, closet doors... doors in general. Lasted about 7 seconds... took me that long to wake up my parents, also another thing I was scared of: My parents getting it on. Yes, it's happened to me 2.

it definitely is weird to feel the ground move like you're all of a sudden on a rocking boat. it's a very alien feeling. or to hear a loud bang or crack or boom out of nowhere...

i find them exciting, but i'm not looking forward to experiencing a super-destructive one. i'd be devastated if, all of a sudden, half of my house was gone.

I felt quakes a couple times when I lived in AR. I didn't even know there was a fault there (New Madrid Fault) until after the first quake. It was a quick one, felt like someone dropped a building on top of the building - if that makes any sense...

I saw this on the news this AM. oddly I had a crazy earthquake dream last night. I was in my office at work and things were falling eveywhere.

No, that does not make any sense. Please try again. :cbig: The closest I've ever felt to an earthquake is a gas explosion that registered 4.0.
