This is a bit of a pre-emptive search but ten minutes ago I was handed papers that said my heart condition was too severe for the Navy & I was to be separated within 30 days. Seeing as how I really have no ties to any specific states and can work anywhere for peanuts this may be my one chance in life to pursue what I am passionate about which is cigars. This brings me to my question does anyone know of a cigar shop, or really any job dealing with cigars, in need of a worker. I have college degrees if that helps any. There has been a recent add in the Orange county and LA area craigslist posting for a cigar rep for a local company. Search CL job postings for Cigar.

are you getting a med sep or retire? i got the med sep from the navy and they let me extend the 30 days to 90 for job hunting and such.

good luck on doing what you love, i did the same thing when i was pushed out medically and i haven't looked back.

right now it is unknown how the sep will be classified so I am going to legal in the AM to try & get things squared away. I just don't want to call my parents till I have everything ironed out that way they don't worry about this.

I'm thinking about giving notice at the B&M where I work. However with that said I wouldn't suggest seeking the place out. There is a bit of a nepotism there and that's why I'm seriously thinking about leaving.

Try Corona Cigar in Orlando or Smoke Inn in West Palm Beach. Both organizations have multiple locations and might be hiring.

Thank-you for everyones support. Today went a lot better it does look like my life in my current job is done but I have the command master chief, big man on campus, seeing if there is anything else I can do or if my fate is sealed. thank-you again Stoops.
