I thought this day would come about 15 years from now, but I was wrong. I come around the corner and my 15 month old son has my footlocker humidor open and a tat black in his hand. Lets just say I was shocked he opened it and proud of his selection. Momma wasn't happy about either. Well after alot of searching I found the key and now he can't get into it till I say so.

:grin: Awesome. My 16 month old find it a good time when I'm shuffling things around the humi. He likes to sneak a stick while I'm not looking and run off with it. Pretty sure that's how the unknown candy goo ended up on one of the bands...

Sounds like out place. Ours is 23 months old and I catch him with empty snus tins, pretending to put pinches in his mouth. We've caught him with my snuff bullet trying to put it in his nose. Lately, since I have been getting back into cigars, he's even ben getting into my humidors. I don't have anything as nice as a Tat right now, but he dumped one humi on the floor to get into the one it was sitting on and was running around the house with a handful of cigars.
Geez Larry I didn't even think of that. I was so dumbfounded by his selection and the fact that he had it opened. I wish I did.
I will definitely be saving that one for him though to tell him its the one he picked at 15 months.

I am kind of expecting the same thing in a few years. Went through it already with my oldest and the Rum. It's just one of thoes moments where you know you have to say or do something but deep down your just glad it isn't something alot worse. Sometimes it's tough to be a parent with children at that age but if he respects you he'll know it was wrong and wait later for your approval.
