Old Henry Gold Label.

Anyone given these a try yet? I realize they are very new but thought I'd check to see if someone out there might have had one yet. I guess these are the latest version of the Old Henry line for Holts. These have a Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and come in the same sizes as the original Old Henry series.

Could be interesting but I've always been somewhat disappointed in the other blends that Pepin uses CT wrappers on - 601 Black and Tabacos Baez. (Never got a chance to try the original Cuban Diplomat or the Rey Miguel but have heard that those were very good.)

Will try these eventually because I can't resist the Don :stretchgr.

I would think that this would "mellow" out the blend some which for me wounldn't be that bad.

I tried one of the Robustos that came free with the purchase of a box. I found it to be pretty bland...not nearly as good as the original Old Henry. I bought a box of the Double Robustos for golf cigars, so I am about to try another and let everyone know.

I like them better than the Nic wrapper (red label). But then I like the 601 Black and Tabacos Baez (original) too.

for being a house blend, I think each of the three blends have their own charm, but I deff prefer the first.
