My order from Chasidor.com arived today and I didn't waste any time clearing out the vino and getting my sticks in the drawers. This is going to be so much nicer than all those boxes. That was a pain. Now I should actually be able to find something without trying to remember which box it's in. I may still have to figure out which drawer but theres only 4 of those.
Got one question though. I know the ideal way to set up the Chasidor is to put the drawers and shelves in the vino with a bowl of distilled water for about a week or so. Unfortunately I didn't have that option because I had no where to go with nearly 400 smokes. So what can I do to hasten the seasoning of the drawers? I have 1.5 lbs of Shilala beads in the vino. Should I take those out and put in a bowl of distilled water? Or can I leave the beads in with the distilled water? Or would that change the humidity level of the beads? I guess thats more than one question.
Hopefully somebody can give some help.
