Its what I heard today at my local...store owner told me that Midwest torano rep himself told him.

Effective the day of IPCPR

That would explain why I got an email saying a not quite local B&M is offering 50% off on Torano before IPCPR.

Makes since now why they're redesigning bands and such--must be prepping a big marketing campaign. It will be interesting to see if they do better solo than with CAO, who've got a great marketing structure.

I'm sure they've been pushing more CAO than Torano though...

I know cigar rep Miguel Schoedel (sp?) left CAO and will now be the regional sales guy with Torano. He said it on his Facebook page a couple days ago.

from what I've seen CAO reps didn't push torano whatsoever. I think they shot themselves in the foot selling the factory, but I couldn't be happier that they left. IMHO the tribute, and exodus silver and gold were great, cheap smokes!

Torano should do fine, i've tried a couple of there smokes, the exidous silver, and the casa torano reg and maduro. Good smokes at a very good price. Hopefully the prices wont go much higher once people "discover" torano.

Torano did great before the merger with CAO and since has been dying.
Its great to see the family take back their distribution.
