I haven't had the la verite but i did smoke and review the L'esprit a month or so ago. I didn't find it to be very flavorful. Also a bit mild for my liking. No spice at all either.

Put it through your nose if you want the spice.

It's very soft on the palate.

The label on the box reminds me of Beaujolais Nouveau labels, which I guess fits perfectly with Pete's desire to equate these somewhat to vintaged wines. Looks amazing!

That's exactly what I thought and I asked Pete about the tie-in either here or on Twitter and he said it was coincidence. Sure does remind me of it, though! I still haven't tried this cigar, and it's killing me!

I have to apologize as I thought both the churchill and robusto of these new cigars were the same blend. I smoked the robusto and that is the one that is like smoking hot air. Today I smoked the churchill and that was a much better stick, so much so I bought a box of those.

Opened the boxes at 8 to 8 with Mike yesterday and the cigar was delicious. It was fun opening the crates. :glassesgr Casa and 8 to 8 have a good supply...
