Some of you may know I am going to college right now. I am not your traditional student being 45. I had to take this class for my degree. I am going for my Maters in Social Work to work with Veterans and life readjustment mainly with PTSD. This class kicked my a$$ completely. It was a summer semester so you are getting a regular semester in 8 weeks. The worst was learning the muscle and nerves. We had to identify the muscles on a cadaver that is a 80 yr old women that has been at the school for 4 yrs. It all looked like beef jerky to me not to sound disrespectful to the dead. What this has to do with social work is beyond me. But to celabrate having a Casa Magna and whiskey and coke. Thank you for listening.

Congrats. I was pre-med for a while, and loved A&P. I found it fascinating. That class, along with Genetics, Cell Biology, and Microbiology were my favorite classes. I'd probably be in my residency now if it weren't for Organic Chem II. Oh well. Congrats on passing, and enjoy the cigar and drink.

Ed it has been rough going to class with kids. I am old enough to be their father. I had a sociology class a few semesters back. The instructor wanted us to bring something from a sub culture. I was going to talk about the military and the Gulf War. I thought hell most of the students were not even born before then.

Congrats on passing! Summer classes can be brutal. All that material crammed into a short "semester." I've had a couple summer history classes that covered thousands of years of history in 4 weeks, or as my history professor would say, 10 pounds of shit in a 5 pound bag.
