This is an absolute steal at Atlanticcigar

LA PERLA HABANO MORADO TORPEDO (10-CIGARS)(6.25 X 52) 10 cigar sale!
0-PACKRegular Price: $95.00SALE PRICE: $31.50

Just picked up a 10 pack along with a large haul of other well priced items. This is a very good cigar that for $3 is ridiculous. I am wondering if La Perla is discontinuing this line as I see alot of clearance on their cigars lately
Then you'll love this! Cigars International:

La Perla Habana Morado received a well-deserved 93-point rating: An attractive cigar with an even draw and perfect burn. It delivers a substantial smoke, rich with profound tobacco flavors and a sweet note on the finish.

Belicoso (6.2" x 52)
BOX OF 20 $59.95

Robusto (5.0" x 52)
BOX OF 20 $49.95

Toro (6.0" x 50)
BOX OF 20 $49.95

These aren't the same as the Morado, these are Maduros. The Morado has a Cameroon wrapper, more medium bodied and kinda fruity (in a good way). The Morado was a limited run and discontinued when they ran out of the tobacco used in the blend. The Maduro is a regular release. Both of these deals are very good.

So are they a good smoke? I have not had one so when I see $240 to &40 I just think that it is a crap smoke. Am I wrong or am I just missing out?

IMO the Morado is a great cigar, the Maduro is a really good cigar.

EDIT: These sold for between $100 and $125 a few years back not the $240 MSRP

They are giving the Morados away at our shop buy three get one free with few takers. Black Pearl was once my go to cigar for a knock around every day. Burned out on them.

Yeah you can definitely get tired of them. At this price I picked up a box of each to put into my smoking rotation.

Notice that those prices on the Mi Barrio are now their "Regular Price." This must reflect the new deal 601 has to have their cigars distributed by RP (who's been in bed with Famous for years). This is GREAT news for 601 fans. The Mi Barrio for a regular price of $6/stick is a fabulous deal, imvho. I'd paid $7 and felt like it was a bargain.

absolutely. I first tried these a few years back after the Torpedo got the 93 rating in CA. They were a very good cigar at $7-8 back then. I remember they produce tons of smoke, I mean like a chimney. They are only $3 because I guess they are discontinued and folks are blowing them out. Trust me these are well worth $3. I just lit up my first one that came in the other day. I will report back with confirmation as to whether they are still smoking well.
