Thank goodness, I was beginning to think there was not going to be a viaje release this week.

I heard this news earlier today as well......and my irritation was two-fold.

one b/c there's just been too many lately....which is obvious. Even being a fan of Viaje, it's annoying.

two b/c they've all been great IMO, they really have....for me at least. Never smoked the Summerfest Torp, but I did in the robusto. The verdict is out on the DES for me (just got the box today).

I said the same thing when the DES came out, that I was gonna "pass on this one", and then I come in here and read the reviews, and ended up doing a box split b/c they were all so fricken' positive. This hobby would be WAY cheaper if I were blind.

How are the Summerfest, Kyle? I missed those and the TNT (during my deportation, lol). Of course, I have yet to smoke the Viajes that I do have, lol. I need to hire someone to watch my kids so I can smoke cigars more ;)

It was excellent Nate. I've only smoked two, and they were both spot on. Like I said, never met a Viaje LE that I haven't liked. I tried to rank em' as far as which were my favorite, but I couldn't do it, so I gave up..LOL!......that's how much I've enjoyed the ones I've smoked.

:rolling: exactly what I thought! I have enjoyed a few viaje cigars but missed out on the past 4 or 5 le releases only because they were all so close together! Seems like a new release every time you turn around getting out of control.

I really enjoy the craftsmanship and flavor profiles on all the Viaje limited releases, but I do agree with most here that the TNT & Summerfest trio was a LOT to unload all at once. I get that the July 4th TNT needed to come out near the 1st week of July, but I wonder if it would have been better to space out the 2 Summerfest releases a bit (?)

Don't forget the DES right after those...

The DES is my favorite of the Viaje limiteds yet. I've only missed a couple. Thankfully I just found a couple more after smoking what I thought was the only DES I was gonna get my hands on...

I have to agree with several others in this thread regarding the constant stream of LEs Viaje is dropping. I had to pick and choose which LEs to try and missed out on some I really wanted to.

The Exclusivo jar release was a bit of a disappointment to me and the TNT was good but I was hoping it would be better. However, I did find the Summerfest robusto and the Holiday Blend to be incredible...

It would be nice to see them either put out some more regular production lines or work on new blends within the lines already established.

Just finished my first Red Label #2. Smoking the first half I would swear I had a HDM Epi #2 in my hand. This is quite different compared to the Black Label. The switch is less in your face and less strength overall. It transitioned nicely into a slightly stronger richer smoke. I have to say this cigar is extraordinary. If you can find a box, grab it. Smoke up lads. Cheers.
