to me, if the wrapper rubs pigment without moisture or excessive with minimal moisture, i want nothing to do with the cigar no matter what method is used in obtaining the specific color.

Very interesting. I've been wondering about this since I got some color transfer off an Ashton maduro. The Fuentes don't seem like maudromatic people.

Back before I started making an effort to keep the head dry I'd routinely get at least a little brown gunk on my lips, even off non-maduro cigars.

Hey guys... I simply found this while googling something earlier in the day. It is posted on another forum so I didn't want to posts links here.
