Since we are in a shitty economy and a lot of people have had to cut back on luxury items, cigars included, what is the avg price of the cigars you smoke daily?

For me I don't really pay too much attention to it, but at the same time I'm not smoking 3-4 $20+ cigars a day either. I think if I averaged it out I smoke about 2-3 $5-$10 cigars a day, some days a little more if I have a Padron Anny or the like.

I'd say on average between $12ish a stick. Usually 1-2 a day, but can get to 3-4 on good days n

I'd put myself in that category too.

I cut back on my cheaper smokes so I can afford the higher quality, so I would say $8-$10. So I am smoking less, but enjoying more.

Well I don't smoke daily (lucky bastages ), but most of the smokes I buy tend to be in the $4-6 range. I do occasionally splurge though.

funny you ask this question, a few day ago i calculated my habit...based of of july 09 - july10

sunday - thursday = $12.42 per day at 1.6 smokes
friday - saturday = $36.39 per day at 3.3 smokes

yup, that's a little over $7,000 a year in a habit that only adds 10 years to life....

Probably about $6 per stick for me. One cigar per day Monday through Thursday. Typically a smaller cigar like a Noella or an Angeles. On Fridays I usually drink booze of some sort which means I smoke 3 or more cigars, usually more expensive types like Opus or Cuban Cohiba.

I rarely smoke a 20 dollar cigar, or even a 15 dollar stick.

I smoke a lot in the 5-8 range...
Usually Short runs (6-7)
PDR 1878 (5-7)
or Le bijou (7)
sometimes I do smoke a bit more expensive, but still, within 8-11 range...

i try my best to look for bargains for the majority of my smokes... i'm lucky to have found a great deal on my favorite cigars (about 2.85 a stick). i'd say, factoring in some visits to my local B&Ms, i'm at about 4-7 bucks daily.

Pa,
What's your favorite stick burgermeister?

Mine just a few months ago was 2-6
But lately it's been 6-10.

Just like burgermeister I never buy full price. I only buy when I can find deals.

well... i wouldn't say i never pay full price. sometimes i give in to impulse.

right now, i've found that Camachos deliver everything i like in a cigar. there is a sampler on CI that has them for a ridiculous price (compared to what they usually go for)... so i just stocked up. i just hope they always have this deal going!

my other favorites tend to be DPGs and Cu-Avana Intensos (the Toro vitola is great after a steak dinner).

Pa,
I should have guessed a Camacho by seeing your signature. I haven't smoked many of that brand.

You can definitly find some good deals out there.

i'm still trying things, and there are certain flavors i really don't like, but i have yet to smoke a Camacho that's disagreeable.

i always try my best to search for deals... mostly because, as the OP said, shitty economy! i'm lucky i have an understanding wife, though!
