First Third: Cigar had a dark chocolate wrapper. Cut evenly with my xikar and pre light draw tastes like aged tobacco. Upon lighting I get a meaty seasoning like flavor with wood and a sweet herbaly aftertaste. Cigar holds a nice ash and burns razor sharp. Meduim body and strenght.
Second Third: Cigar stays pretty much the same but with some creamy flavors as well. I really dig that sweet herbal aftertaste. It pairs well with the Rum & Coke I'm drinking. Still no draw or burn issues.
Last Third: This cigar stays very consistant. Picked up a little strenght as I smoked the final 3rd. One of the most even burning cigars I've ever smoked.

You can tell that this cigar is well aged as it was nice and smooth throughout. I great cigar to relax and enjoy after a meal or with a good drink
Total score out of 100 points being the perfect cigar. 89/100

Cigar #3
Prelight
Dark, mottled wrapper with quite a few veins and dark spots. (I really don’t make a decision on a cigar based on its wrapper, so it’s more of a comment than a criticism)
Nice triple cap securing a flat head. The foot end and cold draw both provided light notes of cedar and bread.
First Third
This cigar started without much complexity. Pleasant notes of cocoa and bread with an almond finish. Light and pleasant aroma of fresh baked bread. Sort of a chalky consistency to the flavor profile. Burning qualities were great.
Second Third
The flavor profile continued, delivering soft, muted notes. Nice thick ash, and a cone shaped cherry indicated great construction. A thin burn line suggested age. Easy volume of smoke with each draw.
Last Third
Flavor profile remained the same, and intensified slightly…Rounded notes of chocolate, almonds and sourdough bread. The finish was slightly stronger, providing a citrus/pineapple flavor.
Burning qualities remained excellent…Not a touch up or re-light required; and the burn line remained razor sharp.
Closing
Pleasant experience with this cigar, although there was not much to be found in terms of flavors. Because of the muted, rounded notes and the thin burn I am going to assume that this was an aged cigar. Great brining qualities as well….Lack of flavor just left me a bit disappointed.

It was a beautiful night here at Casa de Tuba! Feeling good after some smoked pork loin that I made, I settled in to hopefully enjoy a fine cigar. As I looked over the cigar it looked very nice with a medium brown wrapper with some reddish color. The wrapper is nice and supple with no big veins and no blemishes. It was firm when I squeezed it but not hard. The pre light draw was a bit firm but not tight in anyway. The aroma of the cigar before I lit it was interesting; it reminded me of the alfalfa we used to grow on the farm when I was growing up. I haven’t really encountered that before. Intrigued, it was time to fire this corona up.
My initial impression of the cigar was salty and tangy. As the cigar moved through the first third of the cigar I felt the saltiness mellowed a bit but certainly did not go away. It was slightly bitter on the finish. I got a decent amount of smoke and the amount I got increased after the first inch of the cigar. I also enjoyed the aroma after the first inch, getting a woodsy smoked meat aroma. The burn of the cigar was pretty straight. I never had to correct it during the entire smoke.
During the second third, it really started to get more bitter and tannic. I purged it and it helped some, but still was slightly bitter. I think this is a pretty young cigar. The aroma is still good with that earthy, woodsy smell, but I’m not really enjoying the flavors which are still salty and a bit grassy and earthy.
The last third is still very tannic and harsh; still getting that salty profile. I think with a few more years this cigar will be much more enjoyable. The construction is very good as evidenced by the good burn and good draw throughout the entire cigar. I had high hopes for this cigar but they weren’t met unfortunately. Initially I was thinking Sancho Panza, but my guess is . . .

This cigar was a great one IMO. W hints of cinnamon, cedar, leather, and a slight spice thru the nose. A medium to long finish that coated the mouth. Ash held over a inch for the whole cigar. Also this cigar finished with a mint like coolness on the nub which I absolutely love! The one thing that I loved most is I couldn't even come close to
a certain Marca to this cigar. Maybe a boli maybe a Party? Who knows, it also had hints of Nc strength to it which I loved!
Guess as to what the cigar was that you smoked?
Don't know lol! But I loved it!
