i finally smoked my first drac earlier this week... i thought it was great!

I agree. I had my third on Tuesday and it was great. I had one about three months ago and one about 2 months after the release and they have steadily been improving.

Dang it, I have CRS syndrome. Ended up smoking the Top Shelf Signature Select Lancero. Pretty amazing cigar here. Tastes like what I imagine the Viaje Holiday Blend tasting like in another year.

Today looks like a good Drac day! (But tomorrow may be even better).

My dad smoked one today, but it was the same as it was in october...it exploded. So far he has had 5 explode on him. Its not a storage issue because all of his other cigars are fine...just a bad batch i guess.

Hmm, sounds like a packaging issue, involving hairline cracks? That's strange to say the least, I know I'd be annoyed.

cigars "explode" under different circumstances...it might just be a way someone is smoking a particular stick...5 out of 5 sticks blowing up would indicate something other than quality....

I tend to agree ... it's possible that this is a case someone smoking way too hard or too fast ... like I often see cigarette smokers do when given a cigar. The odds of 5 out of 5 having random issues that I've never heard about from others is just too crazy. And these all come from the same "batch," so that's not it either.
