  • BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE

Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

To twirl or not to twirl...

I say this with real fear that I will be instantly booted from the "100% manly man" group as a result...but some things need to be said out loud, damn the consequences...

I twirl my cigars...I absolutely positively twirl them...

I find that some cigars, when rotated once in a while, (in the direction of the wrap so as not to risk unraveling), produce a rather intense buttery taste which I thoroughly enjoy. So, I usually do a bit of 1/2 turn twisting on the first few puffs, then I notice I also do it more when the cigar hits the sweet spot.

"doc" from www.stogiefresh.com does this in his videos, and also explains why (even burn theory) at one point...

There, I said it...

The problem I have with twirling my cigars is if I throw them too high I might miss them as I pirouette and drop the damn thing. And you know whenever you drop a cigar it always lands on the foot and cracks.
