Of your list, I would have to choose Winston Churchill (#1 on the CA list you used). However, I would have to choose George S. Patton. He should have been #2, but he was #54 on the CA list.

Fictional characters: Thomas Sullivan Magnum and Jonathan Quail Higgins

I chose Milton Berle because he kind of reminds me of my grandfather. Other than the listed people, I am my own favorite cigar smoker.

Never mind. . .did not read the poll carefully enough. Voted "other" before I realized my favorite, George Burns, was in the poll. . .:smokingco

Has to be JFK, great taste in cigars, screwed around with Marilyn, told the Soviets where to stick it, and said: “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.”

Raul Julia is one of my favs as for actors.
Love this quote by him:

"Maybe it's like becoming one with the cigar. You lose yourself in it; everything fades away: your worries, your problems, your thoughts. They fade into the smoke, and the cigar and you are at peace."
Raul Julia
