A few of the board members followed my cigar room project in my basement and the cigar band poker table. I finally got around to overhauling www.ryandeyer.com so that all of those pics and plans are in one place online. Enjoy! Added a blog to the site as well so hopefully we'll be keeping that active.

Looks damn good Ryan! Really good! The exhaust was a nice alternative being as though the smoke is one of the biggest factors when creating one. I couldn't imagine a cigar room filled with friends trying to play poker with a fogged out room. Nice touches, nice Pic's
Thanks for sharing Ryan.

p.s The poker table is an exclusive touch!

how many people can smoke in there before it overpowers the exhaust/smoke eater?
The room was built for three people but we've had more than that in the room during parties. I've yet to read a point where the exhaust fan can't keep up, it's a pretty powerful unit when I dial it up.

Ryan, I remember seeing this process a few years ago with a slightly different table and chairs in the smoking room(or am I mistaken???). This exact room has been in my mind ever since as the perfect home lounge.

The poker table is very nice as well and would love to stack some chips on it!

Same table and chairs in the cigar room. The poker table was a new addition to the basement though.

Wow nice table. I bet it feels good to play on something that you built and put that much effort into.

Maybe I do have a use for my bands now. Better get smoking more.

I have the actual exhaust fan unit listed on http://www.ryandeyer.com/cigar-room/required-materials/. It's a 1200CFM Broan L1500L In-Line Fan. Whatever fan you decide on, make sure you have enough strength and put it on a variable speed switch so you can dial it down or up as needed.
