I have smoked alot of the same cigars multiple times and many varieties but I have to say in terms of consistency the San Cristobal for me is the best out there. My favorite size is the Monumento because I like longer smokes especially in the summer and I think this is the best cigar of similar size out there. I have gone through probably 50 of these and cannot recall any having burn or draw issues and the flavor is just awesome exceptionally rich and pleasant. I don't think its overally complex cigar but just great flavors all around. When buying in boxes on special you can find these to be comfortably priced for almost everyday enjoyment. Anyone else out there sing the praises of the San Cristobal like me?

I have 2 in my humi right now. I've never had one but reading your post makes me anxious to try. One was a gift I got last year for becoming ordained and being the reverend for my nephews wedding..lol and I just got another from a client for helping her lose 30lbs.

I agree - they are tremendous smokes. Personally, I prefer the smaller ring gauge vitolas, the Francisco and Guajiro, but every size is terrific. I need to re-visit these myself. (I'm guilty of getting wrapped up in the "latest and greatest" and sometimes neglect brands that are tried and true.)

I've only had one or two, but I liked them a lot.

I'd also recommend the Mi Barrio, Cubao, Tautaje Unicos, and Liga Privada T-52!

love the sun-grown version as well. good OTT, almost a year, 10 months or so, I have half a box left....every one is better than the last. my last 5 will be put away for another year.

but the OG SC is good right off the bat

Hell yes!! One of the best cigars out there for under $10. I love this cigar and next to the Oliva V "MADURO" I could smoke them everyday. I like the Torpedo's but there all good. I did not care for the new line but I will always have the original in my humi!

I will definitely jump in here and agree emphatically about the quality of these cigars. These are excellent cigars and for me the Guajiro is the best of the lot. I've got two boxes of the Guajiro and a box of Francisco resting comfortably and will happily stock more when the disposable cash might allow!

I am happy to see alot of people agreeing. With all the high priced LE coming out lately with hits and misses its nice to have an extremely consistent decent priced premium cigar to count on. BTW the Guajaros are my 2nd fav size. In terms of box pricing i would say its hard to beat Atlantic cigar on these as they are matching low prices. Just quoted me $147.95 for box of 22 Monumentos which is a great price.

I'm enjoying my first one right now. It's a Clasico but I have a Guajiro in the humidor. I've got to say I've never had a cigar punch me in the face with such rich and powerful smoke and flavor. Thankfully it has smoothed out and is becoming more creamy and more refined.

The lancero happens to be my favorite size.
me too, but that stands to reason with most line for me. I got the LA Aroma de cuba, San Cristobal lancero box, with 5 of each (great presntation by the way). The SC's in this box seemed a bit tight. I guess you run that risk with lanceros.
