Where do you hunt, Jeff? When I was a teen we hunted doves down around Indio, Palm Springs and Salton Sea. Fabulous hunting there in the 60's and far fewer people.too sad... end of the work week!! heading to the river in a few... opening day for dove hunting tomorrow - thru friday!! My wife once came home with a piece of fish that cost like $15 a pound and told me that it taste just like chicken and I wouldn't be able to distinguish the two, my response was the obvious. "If that's the case wouldn't it have been cheaper to have bought chicken?"

I always ask that questions, it gives you a starting point on judging because chicken is a food that is pretty universal so when making a comparison chicken makes the unknown factor a little less risky. None the less rattle snake & raccoon can taste like filet Mignon, I will never know......don't want to know....don't need to know! Thanks anyway:barf:
