I ordered some 858SG on the daily special. I got the last 10....however I ordered 20. The retailer emails me immediately, apologizes profusely for running out and goes on to offer a couple options.... and says he will throw in "a few extras" for inconveniencing me. Not feeling the least bit inconvenienced, I choose an option and my package shows up with "a few extras". Now... to set this straight, my total order was an $80 order. Here are my extras:

Now that's customer service!
Thanks to the crew at Slippery Rock Cigars. I'll be watching.
And for the record.. this is the first time I have ever dealt with Joe and his "shpo".

Now that's beautiful - customer service is a lost art - I'm in the camp that the customer isn't always right - but when a vendor goes beyond reasonable expectation you gotta applaud that!!!!!

Holy cow, Tom! Those "extras" are nearly worth how much you paid for your order! Crazy. I really wish more places realized how important customer service is. There are so many places to buy from these days, why not go where you know they'll treat you right?

Yikes... that's some CRAZY extras man!! Congrats, and there aren't enough places these days that believe in customer service anymore... just in general.

As I read this I can think of a hundred other ways of giving great customer service.
How does a shop survive giving away roughly $56.00 or more of retail product.
Sounds hard to beleive.......
