Was just browsing on CI and noticed these today. Has anyone had a chance to try them out? The Unholy cocktail is one of my fav's wondering how these compare. I put myself down for a 5er hopefully they get them in soon.

(I tried to search for these so if there is a post already my apologies)

Haven't had 'em yet...they're on my list. But I agree with Larry, I seem to remember whodeeni posting about these when they were first mentioning coming out.

If anybody has I'll bet it's whodeeni! :cbig:
Really Larry? *lol* Naah.. I hadn't heard of them until another brother
mentioned them on monday. My schedule has been very hectic the
past couple of weeks and i haven't been online as much... Even though
my buddy mentioned them, seeing the pic that pietaster posted is my
first time laying eyes on them. Is this supposed to be a Fuller Bodied Diesel?
(i.e. MOW Ruination Vs OR MOW?) I know AJ Fernandez makes both of these...

That being said they do look good!

The "Unholy Cocktail" has a PA Broadleaf wrapper, whereas the "Unlimited" sub-line has a Honduran Ligero wrapper (according to the site).

Ligero wrappers usually mean a very strong stick, so I'd guess the "Unlimited" is a bit stronger than the "Unholy Cocktail."

I like the UC, so I'll have to give the new one a try!

smoked one of the new unlimited ROTT, it was good but not as good as the Unholy. The burn was great no touchuos needed and the flavors were predominately leather and wood with some citrus notes.

I liked the price point and will revisit them after some aging.

The UCs are great inexpensive smokes. I have heard that these need some serious rest time, as there is a lot of ammonia...

I'll give them a shot, that's a given.

I haven't been impressed by some of the recent Unholy's I've gotten recently. I pulled one out about 2 nights ago to see if the added rest helped... Still a bit on the harsh side. :frown: These that I've got on hand currently need some more time for sure.

I did have a Shorty not to long ago that was really good. I've got some more of them on hand, but I really like the price of the Unholy better. :sadstare:

I wonder if the bands were moved for this picture also. Anyone else ever note that on the Unholy cocktails? The bands are really at the foot, but all the pictures on CI and Cigar.com show the bands up around the normal area.

Just an observation...

yea, i got a box of the beli's and the band is on the foot. Smoked one 5 days OTT, similar characteristics to the other diesels but def stronger. Should be even better after a few months.
