I've been lurking on this forum for a few weeks and finally decided to register and introduce myself.
I've been casually smoking cigars for several years, but never had my own stash. I'd just smoke cigars given to me by friends, or grab a cigar or two at the local B&M before a round of golf.
Last month I finally jumped on one of those sampler pack + 20ct humidor deals from CI, and that started the steep descent down the slope...
I've gone from that 8 pack sampler to buying more samplers, then to 5 packs and finally to my first box purchase...
I've filled that 20ct, then filled a 100ct, then put together my first coolerdor (all while thinking about just cutting to the chase and building a vinotemp)
I've stocked up on accessories...herf a' dors, punch, v-cutters, and finally a Palio, and about 10 different torch lighters plus a soft flame butane insert for my 15 year old zippo...
Checking the cigar deal sites, the devil site, and craigslist for new stuff has now become a part of my daily ritual...
The slope is an amazing (and scary) thing, isn't it?
I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can here, and hopefully someday being able to help other newbies as they get into this hobby.
