No I have to check out that Album. Yes they are some of the best songwriters around. I have Pandora on and Del is one of my stations and Ralph Stanley.

I find it funny people talk about the Delta blues being Americas music. Which do not get me wrong I like that also another Pandora station. But Bluegrass is always over looked. I went to a lot of festivals when I was stationed in North Carolina.

Now THAT'S a hell of a line up. Don't miss Richard Thompson, Buddy Miller or Emmylou Harris. And to really rock out, catch Electric Hot Tuna.

I went to this in '03 when I lived up there. It was a good time, and the music was excellent. That said, there was copious amounts of beer in the picture, so my memory of the music is mostly limited to the early stuff.. eh, make that my memory of the whole event!

Did you have to sneak beer in or did they sell it back then? I did not think they sold beer at this event. Due to some stupid "no alcohol in the park" law.

Maybe I am wrong.

LOL - Great music in a beautiful park with an ice chest full of beer and a few cigars. I think you might be right Chuck.

We may have to make this a 3 day HERF next year with a few of the mid state and NoCal BOTL.
