The plot thickens....a snippet from a Tat loving newbie

Well, it was another long and busy week. As usual, I snuck away to my B & M, telling myself that I would look for something that was moderately priced and a smoke I've never tried before. Well, one out of two ain't bad.

I knew I was kidding myself after last week's Tatuaje Havana VI Nobles. I acted like i was searching the store, but I found myself at the Tatuaje corner and saw one single J21 Reserva Robusto left in a box and before I could talk myself out of it they were swiping my credit card.

HOLY SHITE! Great construction, burn, lots of white smoke, and a flavor profile that went from great, to rich and fantastic, and back to complex and awesome. Do I have the most sophisticated palette? No. But I know when I am smoking a cigar that changes my whole paradigm, AGAIN! The best compliment I can give that smoke is that I didn't want it to end.

Haven't had this vitola, but the few Tat reservas I've had have all been PHENOMENAL. :guitar:

Never had a Tat but from the short time I've been here, you've all fell in love with them. Now that says something about the brand.

Yeah I have only had a couple tats and I am a little leary trying the Tenderloin in my humi because that's all I really need right now is another addiction to a brand I can't really afford. I'm workin on that though.

You just can't go wrong with the J 21. It was one of my favorite regular productions before the 7th reservas came out. Now with these 7th reservas out they are top on my list. I could literally smoke nothing else forever and be totally happy.

I can totally relate. That said, I am not "boxing it." If I am going to the B & M once a week and indulge, I can live with that. That said, it is always nice to try a smoke before getting a box. :thinkidea

I almost forgot to mention. Tatuaje leaves the most pleasurable taste in my mouth after smoking. It's has a rich and sweet aftertaste unlike any cigar I have had before. A nice reminder of the great smoke you just had. The gift that keeps on giving.
