has anyone tried these from thompson cigar? i bought a 2fer bundle deal and have found them to be quite a good cigar at $1 each. w/88 reviews and sold out, something's going on here.

review: mild, light peppery to start, sweet, carmel and hay to light leather, more intense sweet carmel. they finish hot and a little bitter, so i chuck it before the band point. with some age i'd guess they'd be more interesting.

long ashes!

always in quest for value stick. no complexity, but quite a surprise for that "after-mowing-the-lawn-gar" w/a certified lawnmower beer-u know. gave one to my dad and to my surprise, he liked it. he's been a cigar smoker for years and he liked it.

I'd be skeptical, I wouldn't shell out $40 for all those cigars to find out I didn't like 'em. That's the biggest issue I have with most bundle cigars, I like to try one or two before diving in.
