I don't own a seecamp.

I own a few pocket pistols

1 1/8th NAA Mini .22L

1 5/8th NAA Mini .22mag/lr combo

Betetta Model 21A .22LR

Taurus Mod 85 .38 spec

I've heard lot's of good things about the Seecamps. Give us a range report when you get the chance.

These little puppies were popular and expensive during the onset of concealed carry. Do they still bring top dollar?

I just looked on a gun auction site and it looks like you can purchase one for $435. So it looks like they have came down in price over the years.

RonC:

Just out of curiousity. Do your Seecamps have consecutive serial numbers?

yes, they do have consecutive serial #s. They are 12 years old.

I used to carry a Seacamp as backup. but it wasn't very accurate. I traded it toward an AMT Backup which was decent and then I traded that toward the Ruger LCP. Couldn't be happier now unless I splurge for a p238.

Are the LCP and P238 what most of you folks consider the pocket pistols of choice? Or are their other contenders?

The LCP and P238 are very popular right now. Kahr's & Kel Tec's have a following as well.

I prefer my J frame snub nose .38 for pocket carry.

Thanks. I know what you mean about the J-frame 38. I have one. But it seems these little 380's are a lot lighter and less bulky in the pocket.

My Kel-Tec P11 fits in my pocket so well I wouldn't need a holster. It's got the pocket clip on the side and as long as my jeans aren't tight, you'll never see it.

It's an appealing gun, but with a loaded mag, it was about twice as much as a 380 and even more compared to the 32. I plan to carry in pants pocket, so weight is important.
