So I've been unemployed for quite a while, and my unemployment is about to run out. The one thing I don't want to do is give up my cigars.

Any recommendations for inexpensive yet decent smokes?

Thanks

You can usually score bundles for a $1 or less per cigar on cbid. As far as machine made, I used to smoke Backwoods which are not bad. Still I'd rather find some cheap bundles to smoke.

Sorry about the unemployed bit, I was out of work for 13 months myself. Construction took a big hit.

Anyway, back to the topic, I am not sure if they are machine or hand, but you can get a 20 count box of 5 vegas cask strength for 55-65 on cbid. Also, Oliveros classic, from CI, for like 1.40 a cigar, is pretty decent after a month or more in the humidor. Another decent (overall) cigar for cheap is Ghurkha Park ave 44. The only one of the three I actually smoke is the 5 vegas, but my smoke/shovel buddy smokes the Oliveros and Gurhka and swears by them, and he usually has pretty good taste, lol.

Good luck with work bud, it suck, I know.

Famous buenos maduritos. A dollar each, or much less when they go on special. Supposedly a clone of the plascencia tko's.

Yea, no need to go machine-made brother. There are some incredible cigars these days for $3 or so, and some great ones around $2 as well. Do a search for threads on "cheap cigars" and such, you'll get hundreds of ideas.

Cigarbid is a great place (just don't go crazy, lol), and cigarsinternational and cigar.com both have daily specials that are excellent sometimes.

Arturo Fuente Curly Head Cigars, Famous has them for $80 for a box of 40. Nice medium smoke with a tasty Cameroon wrapper.
