As others have said:

1) Smoke on a full stomach

2) Stick to milder cigars for a while. That Bolivar is perhaps stronger than you want to go for a while until you get over this. The Oliva G sounds better, but you could go even milder. Most cigars with a Connecticut Shade wrapper are mild, as are many Cameroons. Here are a couple good mild cigars I'd recommend, you should be able to find these at most shops:
Perdomo Champagne
CAO Gold
CAO Gold Maduro
La Aurora (regular line)
Ashton Connecticut

Question to everyone - when smoking a cigar, it saturates your saliva with nicotine, right? Which is why you should smoke on a full stomach, because the food will cut down the concentration of nicotine-riddled saliva hitting your stomach?
That's part of it, but the smoke is also absorbed through the tissues in your mouth, and enters the blood stream that way (albeit to a lesser degree). The effect of this is to jump-start your digestive system--and if there's nothing in your stomach to digest, you'll quickly go from hunger pangs to "there's something in my stomach that's not food." Have you ever taken vitamins, prescription drugs, etc on an empty stomach? It can sometimes have the same effect that you're describing.

I take medications every day on an empty stomach and have never, ever in my life been left feeling like this.

Like I said earlier, I get the same raging sickness from smoking a single cigarette. But of course, I inhale a cigarette, whereas I do not inhale a cigar.

I have the same problem. I experience nicotine sickness unless I excercise care to avoid getting ill. Now I always eat prior to smoking heavy nic cigars. I have a few brands that don't cause ill effects to smoke when I don't eat. I spit a lot when smoking (yeah nasty) and usually have a beverage. I also smoke slow and try not to exhale through my nose too much. These few things have reduced my nicotine sickness severely although it still shows up once in awhile. My last bit of advice, once you start feeling it, stop smoking or you will regret it.

If it's a raging sickness, stop smoking and talk to a Dr. there actually is a possibility that you are allergic to nicotine

Here's what I always did when I first got into cigars...

-eat at least an hour before
-stay hydrated (that means water/gatorade.. not alcohol!)
-smoke slowly and know your limits

Why are you buying cigars by the box if you haven't demonstrated you can smoke one without getting sick?

The box is actually for my older brother. He doesn't really do online shopping, so I order his boxes of cigars for him and he gives me 3-5 of them for the trouble of using my credit card.

This is a problem, too, because I don't actually feel the effects until some time after smoking. Like the Bolivar - it wasn't until a good 15-20 minutes after I had smoked the whole thing that I began to feel ill.

Are you smoking indoors and getting your own secondary smoke? I find good ventilation keeps me smoking longer. That said, some sticks just pack a wallop. Smoked a fresh buenos madurito by plascencia the other night after dinner. Just four or five puffs got my head spinning. Great flavor though.
Also, for some reason, i find that smoking with good conversation, food and libation seems to keep the nicotine kick at bay as versus smoking solo. Dunno if adrenalin has something to do with it.

I smoke outside.

Don't inhale. Don't exhale through my nose. Take my time - a puff every minute or two. Spit fairly often.

Not sure what else to do other than trying it on a full stomach, but that honestly terrifies me because of my puke-a-phobia. I don't want to have a whole stomach full of stuff to wretch up.

Could your medications also be interacting with the nicotine/tobacco to heighten the nausea? An interesting topic to research.

I think what everyone said prior is great advice, but I would say to see your doctor. sure, it could be something simple like eating something, but then it could be something serious. Either way, good luck.

Second the ninja's advice. Paroxetene/paxil has nausea/vomiting as a side effect. The nicotine might be aggravating this.
