I just dropped Syd Vicious (left) off at the vet. He is having kidney trouble. We can use some prayers

I just hate these threads. They always bring me back to those tough times I've had to go through. It's always so hard when anything like this happens to a beloved pet - whether it's a dog, cat, bird, or anything else. They are family.

What a great looking dog Syd is. I'm hoping for the best for you, your family, and of course Syd.

He is 8 yrs old. They say Aussies normally live around 14 to 15 yrs. He is a really good dog. I don't have children so he is like my kid. He loves to herd cows, swim in the pool, do agility courses and chase balls.

We are hoping it is a stone and not kidney failure. We don't know yet

Stones are the easier of the two to fix, but even renal failure can be managed if caught early enough. Best wishes :ccowboy:.

Sorry to hear about your dog Michael. My dad and I had to put down my childhood dog due to kidney failure.

My daughter's Yorkie got stung by a wasp last Monday and I felt like poop watching him roll around in pain. Hate to see dogs suffer.
