Hello,
Just started enjoying cigars at age 53.
I had smoked a couple at a brothers house over the last couple of years (I have no idea what they were) but in the last month I've picked some up for myself.
So far I've tried: (that I remember)
Romeo Y Julietta Reserve Real: Nice smoke at first but left a bad taste in my mouth. I've since learned I probably smoked it way to fast. I'll give them another try.
Helix Tubular : So far my favorite. Mild flavor, not too expensive.
Macanudo Certified Vintage 1988 No. 1: Got these from JR Cigars off a weekly special and had one last night. Very nice stick. It took over an our to smoke and even then I probably could have gone longer.
Stradivarius Churchill Actually haven't smoked one yet, but it was in the special I bought. Looking forward to one later this week.
I also find that I prefer a stick with a nice Scotch. The flavors really compliment each other.
I live in the Charlotte NC area. Looking forward to getting to know some folks!
