Laying in the dewy tent staring up at a gorgeous moon & stars!

We came camping at Jellystone in Lawrence KS (*shudder & gag*), this weekend. Heading to the KC Renaissance Festival in the morning. Gotta love camping in the fall!!!

Wish I had extra time to meet up, or visit Outlaw. I might have extra time tomorrow evening or Sunday morning.

Frank I was wondering if you have anybody looking after the house while you are gone this weekend.

Frank, it is a blast. The wife and I take the grandkids to Jellystone and other parks from spring through fall and fall is by far everyones favorite time.

Except we do not rough it as you all do (use to), we got a 30' camper we tow.

Left your cigars , you need to reprioritize your packing for trips.

My wife went camping constantly, growing up, with her family. All over the place, especially Colorado, and out west. We've been discussing possibly getting a pop-up. Her parents have had 5th wheel for a while.

And yes, that needs to be on the TOP of my packing list. Hell, I had my cutter & lighter!

We've stayed at the KOA in Lawrence, but never the Jellystone there. There is actually a really good cigar shop in Lawrence, as well. Centro ( =

Pop up's are adorable. We are ready to upgrade out Travel Trailer to something with a giant engine! Cigars are always the first thing I pack, as well. Even have a wine cooler in the RV : p

Alas, we have stayed at the same place; the KOA became a Jellystone this past summer, apparently.

I wish I would have had the time to check out a cigar shop!! Will have to if I'm ever up there, again...

Packing out the cigars, and other items for a trip this weekend to the Natural Bridge here in VA with the wife and 4 grandkids. It looks like due to the dry summer the leaves are turning earlier and not as colorful already.

Enjoy your weekend :waving: and notice what was first on my list.

Just got back last week taking my daughter camping for her 13th Bday. It is a tradition in our house. Went to Perdanales Falls in JOhnson City, TX. I love the TX hill country.

Wow! I wouldn't have guessed that. We were there 2-3 years ago, but I seem to recall it had just recently became a KOA at that point. The owners were really enthusiastic about it, made me want to buy a KOA!
