In fact, IIRC, they weren't even fined for "cheating", they were just fined for having an unauthorized camera on the sidelines during game time. Was it ever proven they actually cheated?

Yep, Bellicheat was fined $500,000 IIRC & suspended and they lost a 1st round draft choice. Still worth it for 3 superbowls. The NFL had the tapes and destroyed them to help sweep it under the rug. Nobody wanted this cheating scandal to stain the rep of the NFL.
