Help....Hygrometer????

What is the best one out there. I mean the most accurate too!

I assume you are talking about hygrometer... I tried to think of why a hydrometer would be needed for cigars and I couldn't really find a reason.

Most of the stuff advertised towards cigar smokers is consumer grade.

If you want a real accurate hygrometer you have to go the scientific route.

For most cigar smokers, it just about finding some consistency. I use the HydroSet IIs in my humidors, just salt test before and enjoy.

NIST Certified traceable 4096. Worth the price of around $60 at weather store sites. Very fast response and super accurate.

I just went through this decision and also went with the Hygroset II. Amazon has them for under 20.00. After seasoning the humi and testing the hygro it's been in service for a week and indicates a steady 70% humidity.

Can the salt test be done to two hygrometers at once?

I have two hygrometers I want to check. I have the soda bottle cap with damp salt, and the ziploc bag. Can I put both in the bag at once?

yes you can. but i would get a boveda calibration kit, much more accurate.
