My wife and I finally got around to renting "when harry met sally" a couple of weeks ago. It's always good to stay up to date on the movie scene!!!!!

Just watched Lars Von Trier's "The Anti-Christ." Oy!

Showed Wong-Kar Wai's "Fallen Angels" to my Asian Cinema class and they ate it up, er, uh, as they should have! :)

I watched Get Him to The Greek, which was surprisingly good, but I like russell brand.

I also watched 4.3.2.1, which was also surprisingly entertaining and it had a good cameo.

Oh, and I watched The Losers again, still awesome.

Highwaymen. It was a straight to dvd affair, but it was good. How could it not be, a guy cruises around in a 1968 Hemi Barracuda searching for the guy in the 1972 Cadillac who killed his wife. Should have won an academy award I say.

Come on tell the truth, the main reason I bought it was because Rhona Mitra is in it! But it was a good movie too.

Roped into watching the 9/11 - Loose Change documentary. Interesting to say the least. Making me do a lot of research though.

Just finished Inside Man (for like the 100th time )...great, great movie and I love the ending.

I LOVE that movie! I thought it really built up to a powerful ending. The character development is what made the difference for me.

Clive Owen, Jodie Foster, Denzel? How do you beat a cast like that? Great writing, too.

This weekend I am showing my class "Cure" an urban Japanese horror film directed by Kiyoshi Kurosawa (no relation).

Oh, my wife and I also watched the Japanese film, "Still Walking." It was pretty brutal emotionally. Family drama about son who drowned while saving another. 15 years later his parents are still devastated. Check it out on Netflix.

Recent family movies:
Karate Kid- not bad, turns out it was not a remake, as I thought. More like a sequel. Jackie Chan's character wasn't even Mr. Miyagi.
Furry Vengeance- okay. The kids really liked it.
How To Train your Dragon- pretty good movie! The kids loved it, and my wife and I were entertained.
