I say "steal" just because of the design and materials. Glass butter dishes cost more than that.

You could definitely use it as a humidor, of course if the seal is tight. That you could could easily fix...I have no info on the jar though

Thanks bro, I figured it was a steal!! Came with a cutter and a montecristo(NC) as well.

Sounds like a freakin good deal. The cigar and cutter are worth $5. It would be a great humidor if the seal is good. Throw in a Boveda pack and away you go. I would try and keep it out of direct sunlight.

It might be just me but I've had issues with tight seals and mold. Humidity can reck havoc without some form of release. Even your wooden humidors can breath a very little. Just my 2 pennies. However the jar is still something I'd even buy. Nice score!
