Yep, three TD's in the first half, that gives him 11 so far on the season!Gotta love Lattimore
The defense gets a lotta blame for this one too, but I definately agree with that statement about the Ol' Ball Caoch!Spurrier is a JACKASS!!!!!!!!!
Her cant put is ego aside and go for the tie and go to overtime!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He had a chip shot FG..........I just hope Ohio St and FLA lose......

I have been mulling this over. Defense wasn't stopping Ky, overtime would be no guarantee.
You have a quarterback completing 70% of his passes. You have the best receiver in the country.
I think going for the win at one stroke had as much chance of WINNING the game as the multiple uncertainties of making the field goal ( might miss, might be blocked ) PLUS the chance of LOSING in overtime.
I won't discount the ego factor. But consider this, who would you want calling the play for one shot into the end zone? Other than the sainted Johnny Unitas, of course.
I don't think it was a bad play call at all. It happens all the time. The throw should have been made where the SC receiver, and only the SC receiver, could have a chance at it. SC has an awesome field goal kicker. He could have tied the game up, but who knows what would happen in overtime. Kentucky came out an outplayed SC in the second half, plain and simple. Sooner or later you win a close one or two.
