No I think Ciggy has taken a liking to the little bugger and feeding him machine-made, crap cigars.:smokingco
LOL..Actually my curiousity got the better of me on this. I new the cigar came from the event but I thought whoever gave it to me might see what there up against. Besides, I never seen one before untill now. They are cute little destructive bastids...Where's Dan!!!???

They look even cuter when flattened by a ball peen hammer. Get a good enough shot in on it and the splatter factor is quite decorative.

Ive had the luck to have not come across beetles yet, but if I see a hole in a cigar Im taking it out of my humidor and lighting it up immediatly. That little guy is going to die a painful death by fire for trying to destroy my smokes!

If you see a hole... the beetle has left the cigar...

So if there are multiple holes, does that mean multiple beetles or the same gluttonous bugger going back for more?
Could be either. Most times there will have been multiple eggs that hatched in a stick, which leads to multiple holes, and then rabbit like reproduction. I had a bad case of these about 3 years ago. Dumped the desk top (and about 30 cigars), and bought a fridge to keep the temp low enough to avoid this again.
