I was on CA board when that review and a 70-something review of a BBF came out. FOlks on the board went ape-poo over it. It was pretty funny. I think they do it every know and then to try be "provocative".

Those cigars do taste quite a bit like mushrooms. I have never experienced the cardboard flavor though LOL i love how the Cuaba rating above it has a "hint" of cardboard.

hmm their rating system's gotta be faulty if a cigar that tastes like that can score an 80.

they give way too much weight to things like construction, burn, appearance etc. IMO and not enough to flavor.
